Fuglesteg

This summer farm up in the mountain side is well worth the hike. This farm “Fuglesteg” was under church ruling until 1840. In 1840 Sølfest Nilsson took over as the owner and built the large main house from rock - now restored in all its glory.

Today Fuglesteg is a popular DNT-cabin, available to all members of DNT. The Norwegian Tourist Association.

The hike takes around five kilometers and around 1,5 hours depending on you pace, but it is a partially demanding trail, climbing up the hillside.
